I started Trópico in 2016, after working in another digital and website design agency…
and learning a lot about ecommerce and internet user behavior…
Took the leap and started landing my own clients…
So many that I had to hire people to help me…
Those were nice years, we landed important clients… national brands…
And even an internationally famous Urban Artist..
But as you might know… this journey is not easy…
The lack of entrepreneurial education made me stop … I didn’t know how to run the show…
So I decided to travel and take my time to figure things out…
Went to Australia for the beach life… but boy I was wrong…
I had to take double shifts to survive in one of the most expensive cities in the world, Sydney…
After that and a couple of years traveling, working on digital again with all types of clients…
Providing all types of digital marketing services…
Getting dengue and getting stuck in Vietnam due to C19…
Was the breaking point to slow down again and question what we really wanted...
So at that point we aligned our skills with our passions and with a market and lifestyle we know and live everyday…
And there was when we found we wanted to bring an impact and freedom to all those active-lifestyle, sports, adventure and sustainable brands…
And help their owners, founders and teams to build their online brand with our skills on ecom website design, CRO, email marketing and digital marketing in general…

I'm a web designer by profession and a self-taught ecommerce lover, a digital marketing nerd 🙂 But beyond that, I'm the most curious and autodidact person in the world, or at least one of the most... Outside of work, I am a traveler at heart, I love beautiful landscapes and watching sunsets, I am a dog lover and a fan of good wine. I split my life between Colombia and Spain. When I'm not creating content, I'm enjoying good times with family and exploring new destinations.

I have two: one joined the family in 2014 and he's the cutest little guy, and the other, my "pup-son," came into my life in October 2023, teaching me a lot about responsibility, patience, and love. I love the sea with its feeling of immensity, calm, and intensity. That’s how I see life: with an impressive greatness that reminds me that life should be lived one day at a time, with that same immensity, calm, and intensity. We should let everything flow, like the sea.

I am the Media Buyer, and I love helping companies generate high returns on advertising investment. I have collaborated with brands across LATAM, Spain, and the United States.
