How to Define Your Ideal Customer or Buyer Persona?
In this first message, I want to talk to you about how to find your audience on the Internet. This is one of those aspects you need to be clear about right away. We are going to talk about Your Audience and the need you have to be able to describe your ideal customer, Your Avatar. And it’s not just saying “My ideal customer is all business owners aged 25-45, upper-middle class…” You have to give them a personality, understand them, describe them physically and emotionally, give them a name, create a story for them, and speak directly to them.
This way, in all your messages and content, you will know who you are talking to, and your user will feel that the content is made especially for them. They will perceive it genuinely and sincerely, these are the foundations of your relationship with your users.
On the internet and in general, you must find your audience, listen to them, understand them, create a relationship with them, and then deliver your service or product, your solution. The more you know your users, the less you have to sell to them. They will feel less pressure in the sale.

Now that you understand this, I will share some very useful tools for creating Your Avatar. And in the content I will send you in the coming days, I will guide you more deeply through the whole process. Remember that in this journey, we are creating a hypothesis that will be evaluated day by day in the life of your business.
So when it comes to creating The Avatar, I recommend you use the creative tool Empathy Map, as well as the tool Persona. And then, to understand a little more about the stages your user goes through in relation to the solution they are seeking, you should use the Customer Journey Map. You can download them here.
With the empathy map, you can identify the mind and the heart of your user, and you can know what they think and feel about a specific topic, in this case, the solution they are seeking. The Persona tool helps you define the scenario and context surrounding them, what motivates them, their beliefs, and their goals, among other things. Once you have defined the above, with the Customer Journey Map, as I already mentioned, you will understand the entire path your customer takes to reach you and your offer. You will identify the difficulties they have in the process and the opportunities you have to lend a hand.
Now that you know the tools, I invite you to stay tuned to the blog and the podcast, because I will guide you through the exact process to design and create Your Avatar, and I will teach you how to use tools like Facebook and Amazon to find this information. We will see real examples so you understand the process and can do it yourself. And if you have already done it, you can re-evaluate and reinforce it with this process; you will get good results.
